Christmas is truly one of the most wonderful times of the year. It's a time for family and friends to gather, love each other, wear funny sweaters, eat lots of food, and sing songs. I grew up in a southern African American household, my parents would search for ornaments that reflected our family.... “US”. Store bought Afrocentric ornaments were rare, My mom and I would draw black angels to adorn our Christmas tree.
I created the Christmus Corner with “US” in mind, I want to provide a gifting space for people of color. My handpainted ornaments are paired with black-owned snacks, Christmas books, and much more will surely add the spirit of the “US” during your holiday season.
